A bit of portfolio cleanup with recent sales in my portfolio. As mentioned in my monthly outlook posts, I am looking for portfolio simplification — and as a result I want to be only invested in my high conviction ideas. As a part of this transition, I am closing my positions in the following:
- I sold Ventas Inc (VTR) at $70.00 and closed my position. Total profit (incl dividends & CCP spinoff) was 43.09%. Purchases were made in Jun 2015 & Oct 2015, so holding period of ~4 years.
- I sold Origin House (OH.CN) at $8.02 and closed my position. Total profit was 74.35%. Initiation was in Jan 2018, so holding period was 1.5 yrs.
- I also sold off most of my crypto altcoins and moved the assets to concentrate only on Bitcoin (BTC) & Litecoin (LTC). As part of these transactions, I sold
- Ether (ETH) for 5% loss
- Basic Attention Token (BAT) for 113% profit
- IOTA (IOTA) for 71% loss.
